August sees the return of Deus Ex in the form of Human Revolution, a prequel to the events of the first two games. Deus Ex: Human Revolution takes place during the year 2027, 25 years before Deus Ex. A time of great innovation in neuroprosthetics, but also a time of chaos, conspiracy and a new social divide. You play Adam Jensen, a private security officer for a leading prosthetic company, who is cybernetically augmented against his own choice, and finds himself in the middle of a mysterious, global plot to which he holds the key.
